Colin Hancock

Colin graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 1997 and has worked extensively in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy across New Zealand, England, and Australia, building a broad and highly experienced clinical skillset.

Throughout his career, Colin has worked with sporting teams ranging from local club level through to national representative teams, developing a strong foundation in sports injury management, rehabilitation, and return-to-play planning.

Colin holds a Master of Philosophy (First Class Honours), where his research focused on concussion recovery and return to play. He has a particular interest in concussion management, leading the way in concussion physiotherapy at Wakefield Sports + Exercise Medicine Clinic and playing a key role within the Adelaide Concussion Clinic.

In addition to his clinical work, Colin previously owned and operated a two-clinic private practice in the central North Island of New Zealand. He relocated to Adelaide in 2024 with his family and continues to bring his wealth of experience to patient care.

Outside of the clinic, Colin enjoys trail running, cycling, and hiking, and making the most of South Australia’s vibrant sporting and cultural events.
