Duncan Kellaway

Duncan has over 20 years of physiotherapy experience working in sport, research and private practice in Australia and the United Kingdom. He has an extensive background working in team sports, particularly in AFL. He played for Richmond Football Club for 12 years and then worked at the Geelong Football Club (2007-2012) before moving to South Australia to work at the Adelaide Crows Football Club (2013- Present). Duncan’s role at the Adelaide Crows is rehabilitation physiotherapist planning and managing the players’ return to play from injury.

Duncan has developed an interest in the rehabilitation of acute and chronic lower limb soft tissue (muscle/tendon), knee and ankle injuries. He practices conservative rehabilitation, surgical management, patient education, manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation.

Duncan spends his free time with his wife and 4 children and enjoys going for a couple of runs a week and having a kick of the footy or hit of tennis with the kids.

Greatest Sporting Moment:

  • Working as the physiotherapist and runner at the Geelong Football Club in the 2007, 2009 & 2011 premierships.
